Ranvir Singh has done CCIE R&S V5 integrated course from Network Bulls and got job placement in Tech Mahindra. He was very hardworking student. Let's watch his video review after successful completion of his CCIE R&S training and placement from Network Bulls.
CCIE R&S job opportunities/openings
Growth of networking industry is directly proportional to the number of requirements of CCIE engineers in the industry. It is quite evident that networking filed has grown exponentially and this has led to the rise in demand of network specialist, network analyst, network support engineer, network security engineer, network administrator and many more. There are many new job openings for CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S engineers but for CCIE candidates opportunities are endless. If a candidate has done only CCNA or only CCNP, he will get good growth as compared to software engineers but will get boost in his career only after doing CCIE. You will get better job opportunities if you don’t even have the CCIE certification but have knowledge of CCIE level. It’s all about knowledge. You learn networking basics in CCNA and get more knowledge of Cisco networks and devices in CCNP. Similarly you will get in-depth/next level knowledge while preparing for CCIE. That is the reason of tremendous success if candidates having CCIE knowledge. For candidates who have CCIE level knowledge will have better and more job opportunities than candidates with CCNP and CCNA. There will always be jobs for CCNA and CCNP candidates, but CCIE students will continue to dominate the industry with their knowledge, because at the end of the day only knowledge matters J .
If a candidate has CCNA knowledge/certification, he will be allowed in only L1 level job openings, but if a candidate has CCNP level of knowledge or certification then he will be allowed to basic and apply for the next level of job openings like Network Engineer or Sr. Network Engineer. But think of it like this, if a candidate has CCIE level of knowledge, he can sit in any of the interviews, be it for L1, L2 or L3 level job openings. Be it for Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or Sr. Network Engineer. He can sit in any interview and competition will be very less because he has studied almost everything about Networking.
Since the number of CCIE certified engineers is very limited, CCIE has become the most desirable profile in the networking industry. The salary package which is offered to a normal software engineer is less as compared to the salary offered to a CCIE engineer. A CCIE fresher can get a salary package of 5-8lpa depending upon the knowledge and certification type i.e. R&S, Security or Voice. Salary package offered to a CCIE experienced candidate ranges from 10-30 lacs(Annual Salary Package) which depends upon the quality of knowledge and work experience.
Companies’ selection criteria
Many organizations hire candidates through walk-ins, through their collaboration with institutes or job consultants. Mostly companies tie up with best networking training institutes and conduct first and second round of interviews in the institute itself. Big Multinational Corporations refrain from hiring through institutes, job consultants, job portals like Naukri and Monster and prefer majorly through walk-in. Even if the companies have tie ups with institutes for hiring of Network Engineers, they less prefer visiting the institutes for selection. They speak to the placement officers of the institutes and ask them to send the filtered candidates for the final round of interviews in the company itself. They want institutes’ trainers and placement teams to judge the students according to the job profile and then to send only the good candidates for the interview so as they can save their time. Same thing happens in Network Bulls as well. We have tie ups with lot of Networking/Cisco partner companies and we provide them suitable candidates as per their requirements. In Network Bulls we not only provide technical training but we also provide personality development, English accent trainings followed by CV/Resume writing classes to our students. We also offer them special sessions from Mr. Gaurav Lamba and Mr. Vikas Kumar, on Industrial scenarios and tools that are used in the companies and their work culture. It’s our responsibility to provide world class resources to the companies. We have a placement team which is headed by our placement head Miss Harshika Bala. They work on Institutional Corporate Tie ups to boost the number of placements every year. They all work on target basis where every placement executive has to deliver at-least 15 placements every month. They do calling, meet companies’ HR executives and build a strong relationship and then work on delivering the best employees. Once a tie up is in place and company HR call us for requirement we then go through the JD and filter the candidates as per their knowledge level with the help of our trainers. After shortlisting the candidates, placement executive give guidelines to the candidates before sending him/her in the company for interviews. Once some students are selected then we receive a call from HR with the list of candidates who are selected and reason for rejection of other candidates. Then we work on the feedback accordingly. Some students who somehow got rejected due to lack of confidence or knowledge, we train them again and send them for interviews in some other companies. This is how it works in Network Bulls; at the end of the day its only student’s hard work which pays back and that is the only reason behind his success – His Hard Work.
